Trut (aka De Trut)

(15 Ratings)
When you're young and in lust

A mixed and indie-thinking basement dance party for those identifying themselves as "dyke, trans, queer or anything in between", held weekly Sunday nights aimed at those in their late teens and twenties, started in the early 1980s in an Amsterdam squat. Good music and cheap drinks. No photos and no mobile phones. Run by volunteers, and profits go to "profits of which go to LGBTQI + projects worldwide" (former wording: "must be solely used for the benefit of small-scale dike, trans and faggot activities").

Be aware

Old grey bartender is fiscally abusive. He hit me for no reason.

Trut

Nice bar with a nice environment, cheap drinks. Since it opens early it makes it a perfect choice to start a Sunday night :)

First impression

It was kinda small, but that makes the Prik agradable. I definitly would stop by again! They got friendly bartenders wich is importante, coz lots others bars they are pretty mucho stuck up!
