Very friendly, typical Amsterdam style bar. Good for meeting others and when you want to actually converse over a good drink. Biweekly meetings of the Neatherbears.

This place is a winner!

First to Review - April 26, 2009

De Barderij has everything to love: great beer on tap, convivial atmosphere, cheesy Dutch pop music from the 40's, "New York, New York" with new Dutch lyrics sung nightly by the exuberant bartenders. Don't expect a cruisy atmosphere, but I did get a lot of interest and offers! :-) Go on Thursdays for a typical 3-course Dutch meal.
