Mandje

One of the first bars in Amsterdam where people could be openly gay and is even considered by some one the world's first gay bar. It was run by Bet van Beeren, a motorcycle riding lesbian, who bought from her Uncle in 1927 and ran it as her own. Mandje had been closed since 1982 until recently renovated and reopened.
