SoHo Formerly: 36 op de Schaal van Richter

(26 Ratings)
In the style of an English pub... sort of

Chesterfield seating, lots of wood, a warm glow and references to Winston Churchill and the Titanic give this establishment a touch of the English public house (crossed with a saloon), while the spelling of the bar's name mysteriously makes reference to New York's SoHo rather than London's Soho. The horseshoe-shaped bar dominates the ground floor, with a second bar (and smoking) upstairs. Thursday to Sunday DJs spin Top 40, pop, dance and club tunes. Attracts a younger male crowd. Opened in the late 1990s by gay entrepeneur also responsible for now-defunct Café April and Exit. Current straight third owner has overseen the operation since 2012. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

DANGEROUS!!! Witnessed two patrons physically assaulted by security guard. They are friends that were minding their own business when the guard began yelling and pushing one to the door and hit another on the back of the neck forcing them to the floor. The guard acted like a madman on steroids verbally and physically guests that are likely 30 years older. Another friend was videotaping with a phone. The guard grabbed his phone and began yelling in the face demanding the video be deleted. The patron was held back and not allowed to leave until they deleted the video. I hope they press charges for assault and battery!!!

Never waste time going there

Hi, I went soho 2 times and both the time it was pathetic experience. One of the pathetic music and top of the that the man who stood at the gate who is very racist and greedy. He randomly select the guy to get inside. I went there with my friends and he stopped me in front of gate for no reason. we all were well dressed up and 30+. Soho just spoiled our evening. Another night he allowed all of my friends but not me as i did not get into with thm.
