For the 18th edition of Get On Down, we're inviting the San Francisco DJ collective Honey Soundsystem! They’ll be making their Dutch debut with a 4hrs-set. Jason Kendig, Josh Cheon (head honcho of Dark Entries Records), Jackie House & Robot Hustle aka Bezier are all about queer disco & house legends being celebrated by the new generation. While also hosting their own Honey Soundsystem parties in San Francisco and having a residency club night (Generators) at The Black Madonna’s Smart Bar in Chicago, they’re supporting artists such as Kim Ann Foxman, Todd Terje, DJ Sprinkles, Steffi, Prosumer, Honey Dijon and many other modern icons. Styles vary from hi-nrg, Chicago house, disco and (new) wave. Gems from their musical beehive are curated through the related record labels Dark Entries, HNYTRX and Disciare. Disco Total will be hosting Studio 2. These two forces of local disco royalty create that liberal ambiance in which art, music and social connections among clubbers thrive so well. Martin Duvall has evolved from DJ into a recording artist. Also known for his techno productions and his label M>O>S Recordings, Aroy Dee puts the same shining skills to italo disco and lights up the whole room.
