Patisserie Kuyt

No ratings yet
Exemplary cakes and chocolates

Sharing a category of excellence with Amsterdam's finest, Pompadour and Holtkamp [see entries], Kuyt started in the late 1990s as a typical Dutch patisserie, then looked to France for inspiration. The result is an impressive and serious selection of both Dutch favourites — including bitterkoekje (the signature almond cookie) — and many French classics, some of which earned the establishment 'best patisserie in the Netherlands' in 2006. Home-made chocolates are all a big thing here. Decor is modern and a rather shiny and colourful. Located just south of the Kerkstraat.
