Big-screen movies, toys and sex under one roof in the Warmoesstraat
An old-fashioned continental-style all-male sex cinema/bookshop started in 1983 and still going strong, though under new ownership since 2011. However very little has changed, with the shop at the front — toys, whips, cockrings, pumps, electro devices, rubber gear, DVDs, books and, unusual for these days, magazines — and a full-on seedy sit-down cinema with blackened walls out back. Plus sling, mattress and two glory hole cabins for porn-inspired activities. Closed forever on 24 May 2015; the owner of the building has other ideas for the space (eg an ice cream parlour).
