Too smoky
Visited on a Sunday afternoon in early September 2012 and the bar stunk of cigarette smoke as guys sitting at the bar were smoking. Older crowd. Didn't try the back room as the stink of smoke put me off. I thought all bars in Amsterdam were smoke free
Fun crowd
One of the more fun bars I visited while in Amsterdam. The drinks were cheap, and there were a lot of friendly locals at the bar. I never saw anybody using the darkroom upstairs. Make sure you check out the daily happy hours for the best beer prices I've seen in Europe!
Good place to get started or chill out
