Winner of a 2011 nationwide poll, Prik enjoys a major following among talented drinkers — cocktails, bubbly etc — and on-the-pulse party types. DJs dominate, whether house, urban, 90s, punky electro, French pop or chart hits, with dancing at the weekend. Karaoke on Sunday. Check website for other regular events. Has a certain lounge look and feel. Very central, located near the Magna Plaza shopping centre and the Dam. Opened July 2006. One of a handful of establishments whose opening hours have not diminished since the pandemic.

Just ok
Was there on a Saturday night. It was very crowded, almost too much. The most crowded bar we went to in Amsterdam. Mixture of guys, but tended to be more younger. Not as friendly as the other places. Bartenders were very attractive.
Good place but snobish crowd
i spent 5 days in amsterdam just recently. the city is fantastic, friendly, open, dazing, even though rainy and overcast. PRIK had good music, friendly bartenders, cozy ambience, but the crowd was definitely quite snobbish and reserved, very unlike my experience in london or in the usa gay establishments. I would probably go back for the good drinks, and the nice bartender, and the music, but not for the local clients.
nice friendly bar
I enjoyed some appetizers and drinks with some friends. Does not accept North American debit/credit cards.
