Brug34

No ratings yet
Breakfast by day, drinkees by night

A schizo gay-friendly establishment which specialises in all-day breakfast (traditional eggs, shakshuka, pancakes, coffee, home-made pastries) while accommodating lunch and dinner needs with its seasonally changing menu, from calamari and hummus to pulled chicken (plus snacks). Things shift a bit after dark with the café-bar's serious "wine by night" stance, followed by late-evening booze and drinkees. Brug34 is located in the same building once occupied by a gay café named ’t Trefpunt (the Meeting Point) – a quietish corner spot on the Herengracht, not far south of the Reguliersdwarsstraat. Outside seating available, weather permitting.
