Who gets to speak for whom? Popular culture representations are susceptible to constructing the refugee subject solely from a Western gaze. Issues of stripping the individual of agency, resulting in victimization, exoticization and eroticization, are discussed through four short films and a debate. Wie spreekt voor wie?
