Located just west of the 9 Streets, this gym is adequately equipped but neither full-throttle nor designer, and with a change of hands in 2012 has lost some of its gay appeal, with former regulars now opting for the one surviving Splash outlet at Lijnbaansgracht 241 near the Leidseplein. Changed from Splash to Fit for Free in 2012. In 2018 Bencis bought out the two-gym company (Fit for Free + SportCity) and transformed this from a Fit for Free to a SportCity which, the tagline claims, represents "a high value proposition in the mid-priced segment".
