Screaming Beans

What do you think of this place? Love it or not?
Very, very good coffee
Amsterdam's first establishment of the modern coffee era, Screaming Beans, served its debut espresso in 2007, committed to sourcing, selecting and serving its own coffee (in conunction with Trabocca). Sandwiches and pastries are also on the menu, but the coffee's the thing, and it's serious and noticeably fine. Atmosphere is modern, but in a warm way. In April 2018 Screaming took its beans from its original 9 Streets location in Hartenstraat to just round the corner in Singel. The company shares an indie sensibility with compatible Amsterdam coffee outlets Coffee Bru (Beukenplein 14), Espressofabriek (Pazzanistraat 39), Sweet Cup (Lange Leidsedwarsstraat 93), Trakteren (Jan Pieter Heijestraat) and Lot Sixty One (Kinkerstraat 112).
