Patisserie Holtkamp

(1 Rating)
Cake and pastry traditionalists in the best sense of the word

Excellent patisserie started in 1969 by Cees and Petra Holtkamp in a tiny, warm and lovely shop built in 1928 and designed in the art deco style by Dutch architect Piet Kramer (1881–1961). In 2002 the Holtkamps' daughter Angela and son-in-law Nico took over, preserving the traditions and maintaining the quality, including the signature savoury croquettes and sausage rolls, plus gevulde koeken (almond biscuits), mille feuilles (made with both fresh cream and crème pâtissière), canelés and many other continental and Dutch specialties, all beautifully executed. Chocolates too.
