Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht

A 122-room modern-swish establishment in the Hyatt's boutique/lifestyle Andaz range, which customises its hotels with local designers, in this case Marcel Wanders. The look is full-on colourful, playful, busy and elegant, and not without so-called gay appeal, and due for renovation at the end of 2023 (but will maintain the signature Marcel Wanders stamp). Plusses include a restaurant, spa and fitness centre. The hotel previously offered a 'rainbow package' at various points throughout the year (a special goody bag, "handcrafted cocktails" and other pink bonuses). The building previously served as the public library and is located on the cusp of the Grachtengordel and Centrum.
